Help!!! Front grill removal on a mk 7.5

Hey guys! Trying to take grill and bumper off on my Mk7.5 R.

 

The grill isnt the same as the old one now the ACC is in the badge. Removed the 2 screws but it doesnt level forward and lift out like on the mk7.

 

Anyone any clue?

I believe you may need the ACC recalibrating if you take off the front bumper on a 7.5 at least that's what a friend who has a 7.5 told me, said ibwas lucky I had a 7 as my front bumper came off for a respraySent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk

Did this to fit my condensor, remove the two screws on top and a firm pull will allow it to unclip, then you can gain access to the plug, i couldnt find anything online about unpluggig ect so i just cable tied out the way.

 

bumper is fairly straightford to get off, 5 screws at the bottom remove the arch liners to gain access to the last screws remove washer piping and on the n/s undo the big plug.

 

what are you doing to it?

There's a few videos on YouTube, but most refer to the 7 and / or GTI. Theres a video by Deutch Auto Parts featuring a GTI, it's good enough to show you how to get the grill out and bumper off.

What they don't show you is to get a bucket ready for the washer fluid and to unclip the connecter that sits inside the bumper on the o/s. Also on the 7.5 the VW badge houses the acc sensor which needs to be unplugged. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

On the mk7 the grill pivots forwards and lifts up. On the 7.5 the grill doesn't come out life this.
