MK7.5 Front grill removal
« on: 19 December 2017, 14:47 » Hi,Had an unfortunately accident of hitting a pheasant on the way back from the local Café today. :angry:Fortunately not too much damage, only the honey combe grill has cracked.Does anyone know how to remove the front grill on the mk7.5? Found a few videos for the mk7 which look super easy to remove. Not so the mk7.5 - Have tried removing the two bolts and can unclip the grill from the top but can't work out how to release the bottom of the grill?Any ideas? Can I just buy a replacement grill and keep the same camera badge?Matt Logged MK7.5 Golf GTI Performance, 3 door, Issac Blue, DCC, Manual. Dosen't the front VW badge contain the driver assist camera / sensor?I do hope I can just buy the grill on its own, but can't yet work out how to remove it.Still got nice little video of the pleasant plucker from my Blackvue dashcam. « Last Edit: 19 December 2017, 15:30 by 7MAT » Logged MK7.5 Golf GTI Performance, 3 door, Issac Blue, DCC, Manual. (I can't remember)I had hoped that by moving it up to the badge it was out of reach of jay walking animals now on the Mk7.5... Yes it the front top grill - the one with the GTI logo on that's been smashed. Logged MK7.5 Golf GTI Performance, 3 door, Issac Blue, DCC, Manual. Racingline Stage 1 OEM+, Remus Exhaust system, Sache Performance Clutch.
