epasenello2 E Take out the cabin filter and reach down into the cabin filter housing (with the car turned off!!). You will find the blower fan is like a hamster wheel. I had a large piece of fuzz caught in the wheel that made this awful noise when the fan was on 3 or 4. This must have happened last time I changed the cabin filter... The reason for the post is to hopefully prevent people from tearing apart thier interior to get at the blower motor (behind the glove box) un-necessarily. I was told to replace the whole motor... thanks to Vortex I was able to save myself this huge hassle and $$! This saved me a lot of trouble. I opened up the filter to look inside, and there was a little piece of plastic stuck in the blower that was making the really loud vibrating noise. I even almost made an appointment at the dealer thinking my blower was going bad. #3 · Jan 28, 2022

I just wanted to give a huge thank you!!! I work nights and driving home “kerBang” Sounded like a small jet plane in the car— I took the air filter out and low and behold a large piece of foam? I'm glad you mentioned the noise doesn't hit until 3 or 4. Mine is only on 5. Max is 6. The noise is only when on 5. I'll be checking hoping this is the reason for it 🤞 Insert Quotes Post Reply
