Also anyone can show comparison in torque kick in at how much rpm for the c200 cgi vs the c200 7G tronic?
Bhp should be same. Torque should be same ?

Krompessor is a super charger for the engine
CGI is a turbo charger for the engine
While 7 Gtronics is a Gear system to enhance faster and seemless shifting..

The gear system is now call 7 Gtronics PLUS!
Why the PLUS!
To differentiate the 7-G Tronics being 1st time used in a MB 4 cylinder engine.
Having 7 speed beside smoother gear change, also mean better FC & quieter drive when all things being equal.
Why quieter drive? Cos the speed range is now spread over 7 speed instead of the current 5 - meaning it doesn't necessary has to stay in a lower gear with higher engine rpm.
The new W212 E200 & E250 - Sedan, Coupe & Cabrio now comes with 7-G tronics PLUS too.
It's out in UK and soon to hit Singapore too!

Went to uk website just.
Only e350 is 7g tronic.
E250 no leh still 5 gears.
For the c class they only offer c250 in 7g tronic.
I think the new c class in c250 7g elegance version with 7 twin spoke rims is a real classy beauty!

The new consumption- and efficiency-optimised 7G-TRONIC PLUS automatic transmission is the new highlight of Mercedes-Benz's transmission technology. Rides are already available in the UK mkt!
Your PI sold U the last few old models.
New 7G-Tronics ride will be sold @ the current prices!
I will soon post CnC prices for new FL C Classes.
U can see that CnC maintain more or less old prices with new ride contrary to early rumours CnC will sell C180 1.8L cgi 7G-Tronics for $200k+

see & see should sell at around the same price as this is 7G TRONICS PLUS is already a technology that they have for a long time..if they dun, they will price themselves further away from the competitions. (Audi - already 6 speed for very long, BMW too)

Wanna have more speed must buy new car but boh lui,
so gotto downgrade mah!
Cost half of your E Cabrio lah! Very affordable!
U should consider it seriously as a 2nd car for the family!
The KIA Sorento also not bad!

U fold down the back seats - can go IKEA buy and carry home full size cupboard!

Abt same price like the KIA sportage!
They only has the 2.0L and not the 2.4L sold earlier!
We actually look very hard at the 3 vehicles
Optima (K5)
Sportage SUV
Sorento SUV
Too bad wife dun like the look of the Optima when we visited the showroom.
Maybe she spending too much time in Sillypore & miss driving
the high seating Pleasure Island Grandfather's Prado 3.0 TDI.
BTW Grandfather car is company's car.
Grandfather's car is zee world best car!
They normally accelerate faster, take corners better, see no humps or pot holes, brakes faster and no worry about FC......
No more OT!
IMHO The new FL W204 with 7G-Tronis PLUS looks great, well appointed interiorly, handle great, price nicely in the market segment!
Guys upgrading their Cs can seriously consider this!
The new C Coupe soon to be out will also be based on the current W204 chassis! Was told this beauty will finally cums with a little a$rs!

Agree .... pocket not deep enough to follow up with the latest ...
Anyway, I drop by C&C this morning to buy some stuff and saw the FL 204. I like the feel of the new steerling wheel, felt much better compared to the current one. The 3-D dial is nice as well ... Interior takes some getting used to.
But I prefer the exterior of the pre FL model better as the FL model has new bumper. I find that the current model looks "smoother" and I like the eyelid for the current model.
The big big plus will be the 7G Tronic which is standard with the CGI models.

I was @ MBC last Sun!
I got the prices, brochures & specs for the FL W204.
With the exception of the 1.6L Kompressor, all other variants will get the
7G- Tronics PLUS!
On the MB UK site - Currently W212 E200 will not get 7G-Tronics PLUS but all other variants will!
CnC was packed last Sunday - Saw people signing for the current E250s with 5 spd - not my business to tell them the 7G-Tronics are out and around the corner!
