sbajra Hi, I got a passat b6 VARIANT 2008 with factory fitted parking sensors (front and rear) When I put it in reverse, I hear a longer beep (stops after 2 seconds) and the parking sensors button flashes yellow I made a diagnose and found the error saying:
  • Warning buzzer, Rear parking sensors
  • Short to ground or open circuit
  • Permanent
Can please somebody help me what can I do about it? If it is the parking speaker (buzzer), where it is located, should I replace it? #1 · Jan 12, 2021 Hi, I got a passat b6 VARIANT 2008 with factory fitted parking sensors (front and rear) When I put it in reverse, I hear a longer beep (stops after 2 seconds) and the parking sensors button flashes yellow I made a diagnose and found the error saying:

Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Jan 13, 2021 IIRC The rear sensor speaker is above the headliner around the C-pillar. VW actually went through the trouble of locating the sensor speakers so they have physical separation in addition to making them beep at different pitches, which is nice...when they work! #3 · Jan 13, 2021 I didn't actually understand the exact location Left or right side in the trunk? Show more replies 0 Reply #6 · Jan 15, 2021 Hey, just trying to be helpful, nobody gets paid to post here. If you don't know, the "headliner" is the fabric-covered ceiling of the car, and the pillars are named in order from front to back: A at the windshield, B between the front and rear seats, C behind the rear seats, and (in a wagon or hatch) D at the tailgate. Right/Left is from the perspective of the driver when they are in the driver's set. Google VW parts diagrams, they'll help. Good luck. Insert Quotes Post Reply
