ZRM32 Z Hi i just bought recently Mk5 and since then i have engine warning light on i went to VW Milwaukee dealer and they changed for me the oxygen sensor which cost 360 $ and then i drove the car for 3 days and the f....kn light came on again... I went back they said nothing wrong with the car and they deleted the fault.then again for the 3rd time its on again !!!!! I spoke to a passat owner he said its common in vw dont worry and ignore it !! Can any one help and advise what to do in this case. You'll get a DTC for any number of reasons, but knowing the code # will help you diagnose the issue. Which of the 4 oxygen sensors did they replace? Bank 1 Sensor 1, Bank 1 Sensor 2, Bank 2 Sensor 1, Bank 2 Sensor 2? #3 · Aug 13, 2013 Diagnose today result I diagnosed the car today and the error read was "P2098 post catalyst fuel trim system too lean bank 2" The dealer replaced for me the oxygen sensor bank 2 rear left.
