Volunteers provide extra support to children and their families while they are being cared for at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone.

Volunteers work as guest ambassadors, warmly greeting children and families as they arrive. They also help our child life specialists set up activities and visit with children and families.

Opportunities are available at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital—34th Street and several of our outpatient locations, NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, and NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn. Information on how to apply is found on the volunteer page for each location.

Join Us as a Volunteer

Volunteers must meet certain age requirements and commit to at least 120 hours of service.
