Gift Worthy: Spicy Homemade Mustard Recipe
Maybe your like
If you like giving homemade food away as a gift, check out this homemade mustard recipe.

If you are stressing out about Christmas shopping, take a deep breath and consider creating your own homemade gifts in the kitchen. I’m pleased to bring back an annual favorite: Gift-Worthy Recipes.
Homemade mustard makes a great holiday gift.
Cookies, candy, and other sweets are great, but all that sugar can be too much this time of the year.
Giving a condiment like mustard is a great substitute for all of that sweetness. Plus, it lasts a long time, so there’s no pressure to consume it within a short amount of time like some other food gifts.

About This Recipe: Spicy Homemade Mustard
If you prefer a spicy, knock-your-socks-off mustard, you’re going to like this one. Keep in mind – the flavor of this mustard will soften ever so slightly after a few days.
However, if you prefer a more mellow mustard you have a few options:
- Add more honey
- Add mayonnaise right before serving

Make It Even More Gift-Worthy
Looking to give more than just a container of mustard as a gift? Consider these tips:
- Assemble a gift box with this homemade mustard, a package of cheese, artisan salami, and crackers
- Give your recipient a trio of homemade condiments: Homemade mustard, homemade barbecue sauce, and homemade ketchup
- Include a gift card to a gourmet food store
Giving something homemade as a gift is a win-win. Your recipient will love the time and thought you put into your personalized gift. Plus, you will end up saving money.
And my personal favorite part? I get to spend even more time in the kitchen before Christmas!
