Pokemon Go is already into its Halloween festivities, and part two is almost here. Named ‘Ghoulish Pals,’ Pumpkaboo and Phantump are taking the spotlight. This means that if you want to get your hands on Phantump’s evolution, Trevenant, in Pokemon Go, then now is the time to do it.

How to Evolve Phantump Into Trevenant Pokemon Go

The first method is to collect 200 Phantump candy. This will allow you to evolve it into Trevenant the traditional way. Of course, doing so takes a lot of time and effort. You must capture lots of Phantump and complete all the tasks possible to get as many candies as you can.

Another method is by trading Phantump with another player. If you gift it to someone, during transfer in Pokemon Go Phantump will evolve into Trevenant. This won’t cost any candy.

Both methods have advantages and disadvantages. This is because when you trade, the stats of the Pokemon will change. If you have a killer Phantump with high stats, you might end up with a lower-powered Trevenant. The bonus is that this method is much quicker and easier.

If you want powerful Pokemon and have a tough Phantump, then you should wait and take the candy route. If you just want Trevanant for the Pokedex or have low-powered Phantumps, then trading is the best option. You do have to find someone who will be willing to trade with you.
