Flashing glow plug light and CE light. Scan gave me G28 Engine speed sensor no signal. Sounds like a bad crankshaft position sensor. Any help in locating and replacing this sensor would be appreciated. Thanks all. Staff member Ross-Tech Employee Joined Jan 29, 2014 Messages 4,774 Reaction score 7,377 Location HQ G28 is located where the engine and trans mate up, a few inches above the oil pan. 1/ and /3 of the G28 should be a 5V signal and /2 goes back to the ECM T60/54. Verify your electrical paths for the G28 are to factory design. If you do replace the G28... GET IT FROM THE DEALER. No one wants 5 pages of chasing down issues caused by substandard parts. He left me about 1/4" of wire on the plug end, just enough to do a solder repair. Codes all gone, running great. Thanks for the help. May 18, 2022 #6
