#1 · Feb 26, 2009 Evening all, Ive just installed my new 6000k HID kit on the standard MKIV headlamps and they look sweet im just worried about the little bits of scattered light its not much but it bothers me. Has anyone tried the H7R bulbs that they now do for HID systems and are they any good compared to the standard HID H7 bulbs. Kind Regards and thanks in advance. Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Mar 2, 2009 To save you forking out on a new set of HIDs just get some projector headlamps they may cost more but they look better than standard head lamps. #3 · Mar 2, 2009 I have H7R HIDs in my Leon and they don't produce any glare and I've never been flashed. I know they're differernt reflectors, can't imagine them being that much different though... This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread.
