Cấu trúc trung của câu bị đông: S+to be+V3/ed+byO.

1.They split the chores equally.

⇒The chores are split equally.

⇒Thì ở đây đang là hiện tại đơn, áp dụng cấu trúc ta có to be ở đây là are do chores số nhiều, split v3 vẫn là split nên giữ nguyên, by them ở đây có thể bỏ.

2.In my family, my mother handles all the house chores.

⇒All the house chores are handled by my mother in my family.

⇒Thì ở đây đang là hiện tại đơn, áp dụng cấu trúc ta có to be ở đây là are do chores số nhiều, handle v3 là handled, thêm by mother ở cuối câu.

3.The shop assistant deals with hundreds of customers every day.

⇒Hundred of customers are dealt with every day by the shop assistant.

⇒Dùng to be are do customers số nhiều, deal v3 là dealt và thêm by shop assistant.

4.You have to fulfill your duties.

⇒Your duties have to be fulfilled by you.

⇒ở đây có have to nên chỉ cần be vào sau và fulfill v3 là fulfilled, thêm by you.

5.The boss will postpone the meeting until next Friday.

⇒The meeting will be postponed until next Friday by the boss.

⇒Dùng will be+v3/ed cho tương lai đơn, ở đây v3 của postpond(trì hoãn) là posponded.

6.They are discussing the problem of energy shortage.

⇒The problem of energy shortage is being discussed by them.

⇒Is/are+being+v3/ed cho hiện tại tiếp diễn, shortage là số ít nên dùng is và discussed v3 là discussed.

7.Where can I purchase this equipment?

⇒Where can this equipment be purchased by me?

⇒Có cấu trúc: Can+be+V3/ed+Byo và ở đây đang là câu hỏi nên mình chuyển wh question lên đầu câu nhưng cấu trúc vẫn giữ nguyên.

8.The earthquake shook the buildings violently.

⇒The buildings were shaken violently by the earthquake.

⇒Ở đây shook là v2 của shake nên dùng quá khứ đơn, buildings số nhiều nên dùng were, v3 của shake là shaken.
