Don't forget to check the fuses inside the car behind the side panel. #7 · Sep 22, 2013
If you scan it it should give you a list of what electrical systems are not working From the fault codes you'll be able to tell which electrical circuit and in turn which fuse..
Jay,did you ever read my rant about un-necessary use of diagnostic computers actually making it more difficult to solve basic electrical problems? The o/p has already told us which circuits are affected,it'd be easier to just look at the fusebox as no automotive diagnostic computer in the world will actually tell us which fuse(s) are blown. Oh except of course the diagnostics built into pinball machines. They will tell you which fuse, relay, transistor and even wire colours to look at.If only Bally built cars, they'd be a lot easier to fix than those cheap German things Image Image . #8 · Sep 22, 2013 one of my friends did tell me the diagnostic test would probably not throw up any answers.. the one in question is about 5 foot tall, and its going to be done for free, so it cant hurt, i have checked both fusebox in engine bay, and one next to dash, there were a couple blown, but im not sure what they were for as i changed them and nothing happened...
