Standard No. Oxygen free copper JIS C1020 CDA C10200 Tough pitch copper JIS C1100 CDA C11000 Phosphorus deoxidized copper JIS C1220 CDA C12200Copper with content over 99.90% is Pure copper, such as Oxygen free copper, Tough pitch copper,Phosphorus deoxidized copper. The electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity of Pure copper are high.The copper is provided in the respective shapes such as a plate, a strip(Up to 5mm thickness), and a bar by processing the high quality pure copper ingot.The bendability, the formability and the corrosion resistance are superior also.
Main features
Oxygen free copper
The risk of hydrogen embrittlement (blowhole, cracking) during welding and brazing is low, because any oxygen is not contained. Oxygen free copper is recommended for the parts with welding and brazing.
Tough pitch copper
The content of copper is around 99.90%, it contains 200-500 ppm oxygen. The electrical conductivity, the thermal conductivity are same as Oxygen free copper.
Phosphorus deoxidized copper
A small amount of phosphorus is added. The electrical conductivity is 85%IACS, lower than Oxgen free copper (101%IACS). Phosphorus deoxidized copper is recommended for the parts with welding and brazing, because any oxygen is not contained.
Main applications
Oxygen free copper and tough pitch copper are used for;—
Bus bar, power module base plate, heat spreader, tab lead electrode for lithium ion battery, transformer coil material, gasket, Sputtering target
Phosphorus deoxidized copper is used for;—
Water heaters, air conditioning piping materials, construction, electric refrigerators for water supply, fuse caps
