need an oldtimer like me that understands old machines... my buddy has a Seiki 5NE-1100 with a 6T control... I am a mill guy so I am a little lost and I can't find a post to do what the old programs look like... the last guy that was here has it setup to run with code that looks like this...

download the mplmaster pst from this site and start with that. Its free

That looks like vanilla Fanuc code with "old" style canned cycle because the 6T is an old control. I use MPLFAN for my Fanuc lathes and it works fine; you'll have to set the new/old switch in the post to old for canned cycles and change the format statement on the canned cycle DOC to 16 to output D1000

Lathe canned cycles don't work very well...search the forum and you'll see....

Canned roughing works just fine; canned finish not so much
