OctoPrint with Marlin FW ignores all movements provided as G1X-0.614 Y0.824 F5000 but works fine with G1 X-0.614 Y0.824 F5000 I cannot find the setting to add space after G0 and G1 command. How can this be achieved from LightBurn? Thank you LightBurn (Oz) December 10, 2021, 3:00pm 2 There is no such setting unfortunately. Spaces are optional according to the GCode standard, and they consume bandwidth and file size, so LightBurn does not emit them. Marlin itself does not have an issue with the lack of spaces, correct? mawi86 (Martin) December 31, 2021, 11:47pm 3 Hello everyone I have the same problem, since I can use my Ortur LaserMasterPro via Octoprint with the “Better Grbl Support” plugin. As soon as I start a “print”, I have error messages that the Gcode cannot be shared. However, as soon as I add the spaces as described above, it works wonderfully. Is there any way to automatically insert these spaces? regards Martin LightBurn (Oz) January 4, 2022, 4:31pm 4 There isn’t a way to do this at this time. mawi86 (Martin) January 4, 2022, 6:50pm 5 Can you fix this in the next version of Lightburn? berainlb (PY) January 4, 2022, 6:52pm 6 There was another topic on this where this was discussed. Worth reviewing. Quick summary, this is a problem on the Octoprint/add-on side. Missing spaces in gcode (e,g,G1X60.146) LightBurn Software Questions Hi, I am trying out LightBurn for running a laser etcher attached to the head of a 3D printer (sending the gcode to the printer using the OctoPrint interface). I have set up a simple square to have an initial look. When I save the gcode for this I get some errors: Most important the gcode has several G1 commands that do not put a space between the command and the parameter (I think only X positions): ; Cut @ 6000 mm/min, 20% power M8 M106 S0 G0X20.547 Y50.299 F0 ; Layer C00 M106 S51 G1 … LightBurn (Oz) January 4, 2022, 8:04pm 7 I’ve added spaces after G0 / G1 for the next release. 1 Like berainlb (PY) January 4, 2022, 8:12pm 8 You softie… mawi86 (Martin) January 23, 2022, 11:47am 9 Great, thank you!
