After driving the car for a bit, parking, shopping, etc, I've come back to the car flashing it's hazards. BUT, if I get in the car and hit the hazards button, it illuminates and flashes the dash turn signal lights. If I hit it again, the dash lights stop, but the exterior lights still flash. It's the weirdest thing I've seen... I haven't figured out what makes it stop yet - I just hit the keyfob buttons (usually flashing red while this is happening if that means anything) and the hazard button, and start and turn off the car, and it does stop. And then it'll be fine for the next 6 times I start and park the car. (Or maybe not, and I never get to the car while it's flashing??) Any ideas? I've searched and haven't had much luck. Mike in Anchorage

Have you checked fuses first? How about door locks? Do both front and both rear doors lock when you lock the car? Does the car beep when being locked, indicating that the alarm system is working? These checks will help. G

Interesting.... The alarm makes sense to me. All door locks work. The car does not beep - while the alarm is going off, or when it is locked. I will also say that my keyfob does not seem to work well. It seems to lock every time, but half the time I can't get the unlock to work. Probably what's causing the alarm and why I can't shut it off. BTW - what does the flashing red LED mean?? I'm checking the fuses now - is there anyone in particular I should look for? I don't see any alarm fuse? (That's probably so no burglar can pull the alarm fuse.... heh) Edit: All interior fuses check OK. Last edited: Mar 29, 2013 G
