IKEA kitchen experts will come to your home, measure and assess your space, and handle all the planning for $199. The initial appointment may last up to four hours and requires a follow-up session (in-store or online) to finalize your design and complete your purchase. Best of all, the $199 fee is applied toward your qualifying kitchen Installation service.

• We'll hold your order for 24 hours, after that it will be canceled.
• Make sure you have enough space in your vehicle to fit your order.

For curbside pick-up:

1. Follow signs to the Click & Collect Order Pick-Up area on the left (West) side of the building.
2. Park in one of the designated spots and check-in.
3. Wait in your vehicle and we will be out with your order shortly.

Our priority is to take an active hands-on approach to serving the needs of our community by creating impactful actions that will be a part of real lasting change. IKEA Costa Mesa has committed to dedicating resources to helping our most vulnerable populations in Orange County, including those at risk and the homeless. Here are some of our recent contributions in our local community:

• Hosted the Newport Mesa Unified School District and Hoag Hospital Back to School Resource Fair.
• Co-hosted a “Thanksgiving at the club” Thanksgiving Dinner for over 200 community members with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast.
• Collected & donated soft toys to Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast during the Holiday Months.
• Collected & donated food items for OC based non-profit Thomas House Family Shelters and LA-based non-profit Big Sunday.
• Participated in our 6th year with the Costa Mesa Firefighters Association’s Operation Santa. This year, we hosted 12 families from the community in our Swedish Restaurant for breakfast and donated beds and additional home furnishing needs.

Sustainability at IKEA Costa Mesa

At IKEA, we want to empower people to live more sustainably, so we’re focusing on affordable, resource and energy-efficient products. With home solar panels, plant-based food options, and energy-saving solutions, we’re paving the way for more sustainable homes for the many. At IKEA Costa Mesa we have taken steps to create a more sustainable environment in our location.

Here are a few ways that we have done that:

Between September of 2023 and April of 2024, IKEA Costa Mesa:

• Solar Energy Numbers:     1,106 panel system     250 kW capacity     983,582 kWh producedo    
• Through our Buy Back & Resell Service had:41,442 items repackaged to stock.    153,136 items sold through As-Is.    599 items bought back from customers.
• Through available Electric Vehicle chargers had:     5,492 gallons of fuel saved.    432,720 kWh provided.
• Fuel Cell Energy Numbers:      300 kW system size      2,090,642 kWh produced      588,989 lbs CO2 o seto    
• A few additional local initiatives:     As-is online    15,650 EV last mile deliveries     LED Facility
• Did you know that we offer a recycling center in between our main exit, and our Exchanges & Returns Department, where you can drop off any of the following items, and let us take care of the rest! Batteries - Plastic - Aluminum - Paper - Lightbulbs
• You may also notice our cardboard recycling bins outside of our store in the loading zone. Bring back your IKEA packaging and we will recycle your cardboard for you!
• We currently offer 4 Blink EV parking spots just outside of our main entrance, and we heard your request for more! Earlier this Spring, we added 27 additional Electric Vehicle Chargers to our parking lot closest to IKEA Way.
• We have solar covered parking that not only provides shade for your vehicles, it produces clean solar energy that we utilize to power our operations to help power the store and offset our carbon footprint.
• We offer a Buy Back Program! Do you have IKEA furniture that’s an oldie, but it's still a goodie and looking to retire it? We’ll buy it back and you can help pave the way toward sustainable living. • Have you stopped by our Sustainability Shed in the parking lot outside of our returns & exchanges department? Whether it’s spare doors, shelves, or pieces of furniture we can’t sell- it is available free of charge! • Can I bring my pet to the store?

  We love pets, but we don't allow them in our stores. We do welcome fully trained, ADA-qualified service animals to shop with you. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

• Does IKEA Costa Mesa offer special parking?

  We offer family parking spaces close to the entrance of the store to make the transition from the parking lot into the store with your little ones much quicker. We offer many accessible parking spots at the Store Entrance, as well as our loading zone, and throughout the front area of our main parking lot.

• Does IKEA Costa Mesa have electric vehicle (EV) charging stations?

  We currently offer 4 Blink EV parking spots just outside of our main entrance, and we heard your request for more! Earlier this Spring, we added 27 additional Electric Vehicle Chargers to our parking lot closest to IKEA Way.

  We also offer two parking spaces next to our EV chargers for Fuel Efficient vehicles.

• Are wheelchairs available for customers to use while shopping?

  We have wheelchairs available upon request in our Store Entrance Lobby. Our greeter will gladly assist you!

• Are motorized scooters available for customers?

  No, but we have wheelchairs available upon request in our Store Entrance Lobby. 

• Where can Click & Collect orders be picked up?

  The Click & Collect Order Pick-Up areas can be found on the left (West) side of the building for drive up, or inside the building in the Click & Collect Order Pick-Up entrance.

• Does IKEA offer mattress removal?

  We offer a range of services to make your lives’ easier and encourage sustainable choices. In California, Connecticut, Oregon, and Rhode Island mattress retailers are required to offer removal services of used mattresses, box springs, and any other relevant products required by law when delivering a new one. So don’t kick your old mattress to the curb! Please note, if you live in CA, CT, OR, and RI, a mattress recycling fee is applied at purchase, as required by state mandate.

  Please note removal service is not guaranteed on the same date or time as your qualifying delivery.

• What services do you offer for customers shopping with children?

  At IKEA Costa Mesa we strive to keep the importance and needs of families top of mind. Here are a few examples of simple ways we try to make your visit to IKEA Costa Mesa a great one!

  • Start your shopping trip off on the right foot! We offer family parking spaces close to the entrance of the store to make the transition from the parking lot into the store with your little ones much quicker.
  • The Småland play area is now open! Located just beyond the escalator in our entrance lobby, children fully potty trained and between 37” and 54” tall, may play while you shop! Space is limited, so check for availability upon arrival! Visit IKEA Costa Mesa for hours and additional details. 
  • We offer shopping strollers in our Market Hall. With a seat for your little one, a hook for your bags, and a place to hang your big yellow bag- these shopping strollers make navigating the store much easier!
  • In the hallway next to the restaurant, and downstairs in between the cash lanes and the entrance lobby we offer baby care rooms. Our baby care rooms offer a diaper changing space along with a comfortable space if you need to feed your little one.
  • Did you forget the diaper bag in the car? Visit our greeter if you need a diaper while you are shopping.
  • You can also visit our greeter to get a Scavenger Hunt for your little ones to do during your shopping experience. (For ages 16 and under) Turn it in at the Bistro near the exit of the store to redeem for a free frozen yogurt!
