In-home kitchen planning is here!

IKEA kitchen experts will come to your home, measure and assess your space, and handle all the planning for $199. The initial appointment may last up to four hours and requires a follow-up session (in-store or online) to finalize your design and complete your purchase. Best of all, the $199 fee is applied toward your qualifying kitchen Installation service.

In-store pick-up:

1. Follow signs to the Click & Collect order Pick-up area near the Furniture Pick-up door.
2. Enter through the Furniture Pick-up and Click & Collect door.
3. Proceed to the Click & Collect kiosk to check in or use the check in link below.
4.  Wait in-store and your order will be out shortly. 

For curbside pick-up:

1. Follow signs to the Click & Collect Order Pick-Up area near the Furniture Pick-up door.
2. Park in one of the designated spots and check-in.
3. Wait in your vehicle and we will be out with your order shortly

IKEA Carson is committed to dedicate resources to help our most vulnerable populations in The South Bay/L.A County - the at-risk and the families and individuals living with housing insecurity. Here are some of our recent contributions in our local community

• Donated furniture to help give the teachers at 232nd Place & STEMM Magnet School a new breakroom. IKEA Carson co-workers spend a day assembling and setting up the break room. 
• Placed a donation house and contributed toys for the Boys & Girls Club of Carson.
• Donated furniture for the Safe House from the Sisters of Watts Organization. This Safe House will be a community house where children can learn and have a safe place to be after school.
• Proudly participated in the Toro Moving-In Day, where we had the opportunity to support new college students in need. Our team handed out essential home items to help these students settle into their new living spaces comfortably.
• Proudly donated essentials to the Toro Guardian Scholars. This program supports students who have transitioned from the foster care system. 
• IKEA Carson & IKEA Costa Mesa participated in the OC Pride parade. Our float handed out STORSTOMMA bags!
• Donated products to Tori in the House, an organization dedicated to assisting individuals in need of transitional housing. This contribution gave one family a comfortable and supportive environment as they transition into permanent housing. 

Sustainability at IKEA Carson

At IKEA Carson we are committed to creating a more sustainable future for the many. Here are the ways IKEA Carson is leading by example to create a sustainable environment:

• IKEA Carson has partnered with Good 360 to donate textiles to a local rehabilitation center in Compton California.
• We have a commitment to recycle waste and have recycled 88.0% of the waste generating at the store. 
• IKEA Carson makes their own recycled packing out of used cardboard boxes. We use this packing material to ship directly to our customers.
• We offer a Buy Back & Resell program. If you have furniture that’s an oldie but still a goodie, we’ll buy it back from you!

• Can I bring my pet to the store?

  We love pets, but we don't allow them in our stores. We do welcome fully trained, ADA-qualified service animals to shop with you. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

• Does IKEA Carson offer special parking?

  We offer ample handicap parking spots at the Store Entrance, as well as in our loading zone, and throughout the parking lot. 

• Does IKEA Carson have electric vehicle (EV) charging stations?

  We currently offer 4 EV Charging Stations. 

• Are wheelchairs available for customers to use while shopping?

  We have wheelchairs available upon request in our Store Entrance Lobby. Our greeter will gladly assist you!

• Are motorized scooters available for customers?

  No, but we have wheelchairs available in our Store Entrance Lobby. 

• Where can Click & Collect orders be picked up?

  At the Carson location Click and Collect is located at the end of the loading zone past the Exchanges and Returns entrance. You can also visit our new Pick-up point in Santa Monica. 

• Does IKEA offer mattress removal?

  We offer a range of services to make your lives’ easier and encourage sustainable choices. In California, Connecticut, Oregon, and Rhode Island mattress retailers are required to offer removal services of used mattresses, box springs, and any other relevant products required by law when delivering a new one. So don’t kick your old mattress to the curb! Please note, if you live in CA, CT, OR, and RI, a mattress recycling fee is applied at purchase, as required by state mandate.

  Please note removal service is not guaranteed on the same date or time as your qualifying delivery.

• What services do you offer for customers shopping with children?

  At IKEA Carson we strive to keep the importance and needs of families top of mind. Here are a few examples of simple ways we try to make your visit to IKEA Carson a great one!

  • We offer family care rooms on the second floor. Our family care rooms offer a diaper changing space along with a comfortable space if you need to feed your little one.
  • Did you forget the diaper bag in the car? Visit our greeter if you need a diaper while you are shopping.
